The Victory at Woodcrest is Benchmark's largest project to date with over 30 acres of land being developed. Once completed it will consist of a club house and 6 apartment buildings with 370 units total located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The storm sewer system on this property is extremely unique, with individual underground systems for each building and a massive above ground basin. The basin covers over 2 acres of land and has a 50,000 SF PVC liner to hold the stormwater. To construct the basin, Benchmark had to install well points around the entire perimeter to lower the water table. By lowering the water table, we were able to excavate 25,000 cubic yards of material that was dry enough to be used in structural fill areas throughout the site. In addition to the unique storm sewer system, this project also has a sanitary forced main that is 3000 linear feet long that is being installed via directional drill. The L2i Construction team plans to continue making progress on the 7 buildings in the year 2022 and even begin to move in tenants.
